I lead architecture and platform strategy for Polarion Cloud at Siemens Digital Industries Software — an enterprise ALM/PLM SaaS platform serving over 300 global customers. My role sits at the intersection of three disciplines that usually live in separate teams: solution architecture, DevOps automation, and SaaS operations.
I translate business requirements into cloud architecture, then build the infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipelines that ship it, then own the operational readiness that keeps it running. That full-loop ownership is how a shared global environment gets split into two independent, fully operational cloud platforms — the Advantedge Business Unit Separation — without a single customer noticing.
Most recently I led the fleet-wide rollout of SALT Licensing, a first-of-a-kind initiative that set the deployment standard now reused across the organization, and I mentor engineering teams on architecture and operational best practice.
